Bettina and Brian were married at Gull’s Way Estate in Malibu, California. My calligraphy — all warm grey ink on cream paper — was letterpressed in the invitation suite, as well as hand-written on day-of items like place cards, menus, and dessert table labels.

Jacey & Grant

Jacey & Grant’s wedding was an impeccably styled soirée at LA’s Smog Shoppe. My involvement started with calligraphing kraft paper invitation boxes in whimsical black script, and designing digitized calligraphy for the invitation and program. Calligraphy for the wedding day included escort and place cards, and hang tags for the buffet table.

Welcome to Ojai

Jessica and Jake wanted to greet guests to their Ojai, California, wedding with something special, so they hired me to design a rubber stamp to fit in the blank space of their gift tags, which they hung on the gift baskets they gave to each guest.

Kate & Deni, Part I

This invitation suite was in the works for a full nine months. I provided the spot calligraphy as vectors, then designer and bride, Kate Allen, incorporated them into one of the most beautiful invitation suites I’ve ever laid eyes on. The envelopes were calligraphed with custom-mixed coral gouache, and lined with custom-printed striped liners. The save the date card, wedding invitation, map, RSVP postcard, and reception invitation were letterpressed on both sides onto heavy conservation board (navy on one side, white on the other) in gold foil and navy ink. The suite was accented with gold-foiled sticker seals and custom-made confetti (printed with the couple’s photos!). The finishing touch to the wedding day calligraphy were place cards written in navy, coral, and turquoise gouache, each color signifying which entrée choice the guests had made. Kate & Deni, Part II

Kate & Deni’s St. Louis wedding reception featured a wall-size banner of the calligraphed words “just married.” I provided spot calligraphy as vectors and designer and bride Kate Allen incorporated it into the items that were printed, including phrases that were turned into vinyl mirror decals. Save The Date Rubber Stamp

I created a custom 4-by-6-inch rubber stamp with Nicole and Michael’s save-the-date text, then stamped it onto rough kraft paper.
