Kate & Deni, Part I

This invitation suite was in the works for a full nine months. I provided the spot calligraphy as vectors, then designer and bride, Kate Allen, incorporated them into one of the most beautiful invitation suites I’ve ever laid eyes on. The envelopes were calligraphed with custom-mixed coral gouache, and lined with custom-printed striped liners. The save the date card, wedding invitation, map, RSVP postcard, and reception invitation were letterpressed on both sides onto heavy conservation board (navy on one side, white on the other) in gold foil and navy ink. The suite was accented with gold-foiled sticker seals and custom-made confetti (printed with the couple’s photos!). The finishing touch to the wedding day calligraphy were place cards written in navy, coral, and turquoise gouache, each color signifying which entrée choice the guests had made.
