Hedgehog In The Fog

On this first crisp fall night of the season in Los Angeles I think it’s appropriate to make a heart-warming post. Please watch this fantastic short film by Russian animator Yuriy Norshteyn. This short is considered one of the best animations of all time. (The character of the hedgehog recently had a statue erected in his likeness in Kiev!) Above is a screenshot of my very favorite scene, which I’ve now watched upwards of ten times.

Norshteyn did make other shorts which are all worth looking up.
